In class, we have been reading a novel called the wringer and it is written by Jerry Spinelli.

In devotions we have been learning about courage.

Credible-believable

 The great author makes characters with a believable personality

They show personalities through these actions, Dialogue (direct speech), Action, Reactions, Physical descriptions, Thoughts.

I can see this in Beans character, that he is an attention seeker he is selfish and likes to think about himself and not everyone else he is disrespectful, he expects too much and thinks the world revolves around him like when he went to Palmers birthday he stuck his finger into Palmers chocolate cake and didn't even care. Beans leaned across the table, took a deep breath, and blasted away. It shows Beans Characteristics in the story when he leaned over and blew Palmer's birthday cake candles out. The author is mainly using action to show Beans personality.

Basic facts reflection

 This term I was wanting to be off 22 by the end of this term. I really need to learn how to do my long division better and that I need support from anyone that knows the long division.

In my opinion, I think that I did bad in my basic facts because I didn't achieve my goal and I practiced and practiced and I still didn't achieve my goal but next term I hope I can move up to the brick 23
